For 12 hours/week, term time only,

NJC Pay Scale Point 3-6, £25,614 - £26,847 pro-rata to hours worked,

Equals £7,113 - £7,456 actual salary.

St Patrick’s Primary School is committed to providing the best outcomes for all pupils. The Governing Body are seeking to recruit a temporary Food Prep Assistant to join our dedicated, hard-working team and delightful children. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Cook-in-Charge and will undertake duties such as food preparation, serving food, kitchen cleaning duties, pot washing, and any other duties commensurate with the role. Ideally you will have a passion for cooking, working with children and be proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Experience of working in a school kitchen or similar environment would be desirable.

The post will be 12 hours/week, Monday to Friday, term time only, the work pattern is:

  • 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. Monday to Thursday
  • 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. Friday

The successful candidate will hold or undertake training for the Food Hygiene Certificate at the relevant level.
