At Sodexo, we believe food has the power to bring people together, improve wellbeing and create memorable experiences. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Food Pricing Lead to join our team, helping to shape innovative food solutions and win strategic new business opportunities across the UK & Ireland.

As Food Pricing Lead, you will act as the pricing and estimating subject matter expert, partnering with Business Development, Operations, Procurement and Finance teams to develop compelling, commercially robust food service solutions for prospective and existing clients.

You'll play a critical role in translating customer requirements into winning commercial proposals, balancing customer needs with profitability, operational delivery and risk management. Working within a fast-paced bid environment, you'll lead pricing activities from opportunity qualification through to governance and contract award.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leading the pricing and commercial modelling of food-focused bids and solutions.
  • Developing innovative, commercially attractive and cost-effective proposals.
  • Building and owning complex financial models, pricing assumptions and scenario analyses.
  • Partnering with Business Development teams to shape bid strategies and customer propositions.
  • Analysing sales mixes, labour models, operational requirements and market data.
  • Identifying commercial risks and opportunities and supporting mitigation strategies.
  • Supporting governance and approval processes through clear commercial insight and recommendations.
  • Collaborating with Procurement teams on supply chain strategies and value creation opportunities.
  • Managing key stakeholders across multiple functions to deliver high-quality submissions within challenging deadlines.
  • Driving continuous improvement in pricing tools, processes and ways of working.
  • Providing peer reviews and commercial challenge to ensure robust, accurate modelling.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
