B Bagel is one of London's leading premium bagel brands, supplying our retail locations with freshly prepared, high-quality products every day.
We're looking for an experienced Food Production & Quality Manager to lead our Central Production Unit (CPU), ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, leading teams, and driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced food production environment.
The Role
As Food Production & Quality Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of our Central Production Unit, ensuring products are produced safely, consistently, and to the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the daily food production operation within the CPU.
- Leading, motivating, and developing the production team.
- Maintaining exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Ensuring full compliance with HACCP, food safety legislation, and allergen management.
- Monitoring production planning to ensure products are delivered on time and to specification.
- Managing stock levels, waste control, and production efficiency.
- Conducting quality checks, audits, and implementing continuous improvements.
- Working closely with Operations and senior management to maintain high standards across the business.
- Supporting new product launches and ensuring production processes are implemented effectively.
- Promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout the production environment.

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience managing a food production facility, central production unit, or food manufacturing operation.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Experience improving production processes and driving operational efficiency.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for delivering exceptional food quality.
