  • Packing finished products into boxes
  • Lifting bags or boxes weighing up to 25kg
  • Conducting quality checks throughout production
  • Loading, palletising, and general line support
  • Working as part of a team while using your own initiative
  • Maintaining a consistent and fast work pace
  • Reading documents
  • Writing down important information

Requirements:

  • Previous food production experience - this is essential. Candidates without this experience cannot be offered work for this role and won't be contacted.
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) to read instructions and complete required documentation.
  • Numerical competency, as you will complete a numerical test during registration.
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely in a fast-moving environment.
  • A team-player attitude with a willingness to support colleagues.
  • Reliability, good timekeeping, and a proactive work ethic.
  • Ability to follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors.
  • Ability to follow Health & Safety guidelines at all times.

Job Details:

  • 6am to 2pm OR 2pm to 10pm OR 10pm to 6am - flexibility to work all 3 is ideal.
  • £12.71 pa (Mornings & Afternoons) OR £13.62 pa (Nights).
  • Can be ad-hoc work but you will know in advance.
  • Could lead to permanent work and/or promotion.

Kinetic are recruiting for multiple Food Production Operatives to work for a large food manufacturer in Ashton-Under-Lyne. PLEASE NOTE - ONLY CANDIDATES WHO MEET THE MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS BELOW WILL BE CONSIDERED. ONLINE APPLICATIONS ONLY.

As a Food Production Operative, you will be working in a fast-paced, targeted factory environment. Due to health and safety, you must be able to pass a Maths and English test prior to starting. The available shifts are as follows. Flexibility to work all 3 would be ideal: - 6am to 2pm - 2pm to 10pm - 10pm to 6am
