We're Hiring: Food Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance Manager- Perios, Birmingham

Perios (Brindleyplace) is looking for a detail-driven Food Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead our food safety, hygiene and compliance standards.

📍 Location: Birmingham (Brindleyplace)
💰 Salary: £49,000 per annum (£25.13/hour)
🕒 Hours: 37.5 per week

About the role

You'll take ownership of our food safety, HACCP and quality assurance systems, from critical control points and temperature logs to inspection readiness and staff training. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on structure, precision and continuous improvement in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and monitor food safety, hygiene and QA procedures
  • Maintain HACCP systems, CCPs, temperature logs and cleaning records
  • Conduct internal audits and drive corrective action
  • Review kitchen and food-handling procedures for compliance
  • Prepare documentation for EHO/local authority inspections
  • Train kitchen and FOH teams on food safety, allergens and hygiene
  • Monitor supplier standards, stock handling and waste control
  • Report risks and improvements directly to the business owner/director
  • Champion consistency in food quality and portion control
  • Ensure corrective actions are recorded and closed out

What we're looking for:

A proactive, qualified food safety professional (Level 3/4 in Food Safety desirable) with strong knowledge of HACCP, UK food hygiene regulations, and hands-on experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
