Shanghai-Me London is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Food Runner to join our front-of-house team.
Located in the heart of Mayfair, Shanghai-Me is a vibrant luxury dining destination, renowned for its exceptional Pan-Asian cuisine, elegant surroundings, and outstanding guest experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-end restaurant and become part of an internationally recognised hospitality group.
The Role
As a Food Runner, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless service between the kitchen and restaurant floor. Working closely with our chefs and front-of-house team, you'll ensure every dish reaches our guests promptly, accurately, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food efficiently from the kitchen to the correct tables.
- Support the smooth operation of service by maintaining the kitchen pass and restaurant stations.
- Ensure plates, cutlery, and service equipment are clean, polished, and fully stocked.
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to provide an exceptional guest experience.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety throughout each shift.
- Assist with service preparation and end-of-service duties.
About You
- Previous experience in a luxury restaurant or fast-paced hospitality environment is preferred.
- A positive attitude with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Calm, organised, and able to perform well under pressure.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional guest service.
- Eligible to live and work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for this role).
