Freelance Food Safety & Brand Standards Auditor
Location: Leicester (with assignments covering Coalville and Corby) Employer: EcoSure (division of Ecolab)
EcoSure is a global leader in food safety and brand protection. We are currently seeking a freelance Food Safety & Brand Standards Auditor to support food service brands through on-site audits and consultancy, ensuring alignment with our brand standards to enhance the guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct food safety, health & hygiene, and brand standard audits at client sites (including retail, hotel F&B, and convenience stores)
- Provide consultancy to clients on best practices in food safety and hygiene
- Maintain strong client relationships while working independently
- Deliver assessments with initiative, judgement, and problem-solving skills
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Hold a Level 4 Food Safety qualification
- Flexible availability to complete assignments on weekdays and weekends, across various shift patterns
- Must hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
- Based in or near the assigned territory (Leicester/C Fowley/Corby area)
Key Skills & Abilities
- Proven experience in food safety auditing across relevant sectors
- Strong relationship management skills to build client trust
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and drive improvements
- Efficient multi-tasking, time management, and deadline adherence
