Freelance Food Safety & Brand Standards Auditor — Manchester
About the Role
EcoSure, a division of Ecolab and a global leader in food safety and brand protection, is seeking a freelance Food Safety & Brand Standards Auditor based in Manchester.
In this independent consulting role, you will:
- Support food service brands by conducting on-site audits
- Provide consultancy to ensure alignment with brand standards and food safety best practices, enhancing the guest experience
Responsibilities
- Conduct food safety, health & hygiene, and brand standard audits at client sites
- Offer consultancy on food safety, hygiene best practices, and compliance strategies
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Work flexibly across varying shifts (morning, afternoon, and evening) as required

Minimum Qualifications
- Hold a Level 4 Food Safety qualification
- Be flexible, available for weekend assignments, and comfortable working across different dayparts
- Have access to a vehicle, hold a full, clean driving licence, and be equipped with required audit tools
- Be based in or near the assigned territory
Skills & Professional Requirements
- Proven experience in food safety auditing (retail, hotel food & beverage (F&B), convenience stores, etc.)
- Strong relationship management and client engagement skills
- Independent working with clear judgment and problem-solving capability
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
