Job Purpose

The Quality Assurance Hygiene Technician is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, environmental control, and contamination prevention within a blended powder manufacturing facility.

Working as part of the Quality Assurance team, the role supports the site's hygiene strategy by ensuring compliance with food safety legislation, HACCP principles, GMP, BRCGS Food Safety requirements, customer standards, and internal quality systems.

Operating within a waterless cleaning environment, the role focuses on effective dry-cleaning techniques, allergen control, pathogen risk reduction, and environmental hygiene to protect product safety and product quality. The post holder plays a key role in supporting hygiene verification programs, microbiological monitoring, and continuous improvement while promoting a strong food safety culture.

Hygiene Operations

  • Carry out approved dry-cleaning procedures suitable for a powder manufacturing environment.
  • Clean production equipment, contact surfaces, floors, structures, and storage areas to defined hygiene standards.

  • Recognize how effective hygiene contributes to environmental monitoring, microbiological performance, and overall product safety.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
