Role Description
The Food Scientist will work on-site full time in Huyton With Roby, developing and improving gummy-based supplements and related products from concept through to production. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves collaborating with production, quality, and compliance teams to scale formulations, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and maintain consistent product performance. The Food Scientist will also evaluate new ingredients, analyze data from R&D trials, document procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and standards within the facility.
Qualifications
- Strong Food Science and Food Technology skills relevant to supplement and confectionery formulation
- Research and Development (R&D) capabilities, including experimental design, product trials, and data analysis
- Laboratory Skills, including safe handling of materials, analytical testing, and accurate record-keeping
- Knowledge of the Food & Beverage sector, including regulatory requirements, quality systems, and consumer trends
- Relevant degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a closely related field
- Experience in product development or manufacturing of gummies, supplements, or confectionery is highly beneficial
- Understanding of UK and international food safety and quality standards (e.g., BRC, HACCP, GMP)
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
