This is a full-time, on-site Food Server role based in Marlow. The Food Server will greet guests, present menus, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve dishes and drinks promptly and professionally. The role includes setting and clearing tables, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and supporting the smooth running of service throughout each shift. The Food Server will answer guest questions about menu items, provide recommendations, and ensure any dietary requirements are handled appropriately. The position also involves collaborating with kitchen and bar teams, processing payments, following health and safety standards, and contributing to a welcoming, high-quality guest experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on delivering a positive, attentive guest experience.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage offerings, including menu items, ingredients, and basic pairing suggestions.
- Hands-on Food Service experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Basic Cooking or food preparation awareness to understand kitchen processes and service timing.
- Ability to work on-site in Marlow, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and time-management skills in a fast-paced setting.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety practices (food safety certification is an advantage).
- Previous experience in premium or casual dining hospitality is beneficial.
