Fait Maison is a hospitality group known for Middle Eastern and Mediterranean inspired cuisine, led by Executive Chef and Creative Director Yvonne Osman (Om Waleed). With six restaurants in central London and a branch in Doha, Qatar, each location offers elegant surroundings, vibrant atmospheres, and menus featuring freshly prepared dishes and handmade desserts and patisserie.

Established in 2001, Fait Maison has grown from its first Kensington site into a destination for guests who travel from near and far to enjoy signature dishes such as Hamsa, Kebda, and Shakshouka. The company is committed to serving food that is flavorful, wholesome, and nutritious, while providing a distinctive and welcoming dining experience.

The Food Server role at Fait Maison is a full-time, on-site position based in London. The Food Server is responsible for welcoming guests, presenting menus, answering questions about dishes, and providing recommendations that reflect a strong understanding of Fait Maison’s cuisine and style.

Daily tasks include:

  • Taking orders accurately
  • Coordinating with kitchen staff
  • Serving food and beverages promptly
  • Ensuring tables are properly set, cleared, and reset

The role involves handling payments, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Food Servers contribute to a warm, efficient, and inclusive guest experience, supporting colleagues and assisting with service during busy periods.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and professional guest experience.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage and food service practices, including menu familiarity and basic food safety awareness.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to listen carefully, convey information clearly, and work collaboratively with the team.
  • Basic cooking or kitchen familiarity is beneficial for understanding dishes and answering guest questions confidently.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work on-site in London, including evenings, weekends, and busy service periods as required.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the capacity to stand and move for extended periods.
  • Commitment to maintaining an inclusive, respectful environment for guests and colleagues.
