Front of House Assistant – Be the Face of Great Service!
Location: HMS Caledonia, Hilton Road, Rosyth, Fife, KY11 2XH
Pay rate: £12.71 per hour (£23,211.38)
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week on a split shift rota over 2 weeks
Split shifts:
- Week 1: Mon, Tue, Fri 06.30 – 14.00, then 16.30-19.30
- Week 2: Sat, Sun, Wed, Thurs 06.30 – 14.00, then 16.30-19.30

Join Aramark UK as a Front of House Assistant at HMS Caledonia, a Naval base with a diverse Personnel consisting of Navy, Royal Marine Band, Royal Marine Reserves, Recruitment centre.

What you’ll do:
- Serve food and beverages to customers following prescribed methods of portioning, and presentation
- Perform basic cold food preparation.
- Clean back of house areas, crockery and cutlery using equipment when trained to do so.
- Clean and tidy counter, and light equipment and keep all areas of the centre, including toilets clean and tidy. This includes dusting, polishing, vacuum cleaning as appropriate.
- Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during the work.
- Keep diligent records as required.
- Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment/materials are maintained in a safe, clean, and efficient working condition. Report deficiencies in equipment, machinery, materials, or work areas to management.
- Ensure the manager is made aware of the need for replacement of materials and equipment in a timely manner to ensure service delivery is in line with client expectations
- Perform any other duties required to complete the team tasks.
What we’re looking for:
- Legal right to work in the UK and ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks (residency waivers available).
- Must have experience in a similar position.
- Proven track record of regular and consistent attendance, good health, and social behaviour.
- Sound knowledge of safe catering hygiene procedures and basic food preparation skills.
- Current Basic Food Hygiene qualification.
