## **Responsibilities**

As a **Food Service Assistant**, you’ll ensure exceptional customer experiences through the following duties:

- Serve food and beverages to customers
- Clean back-of-house areas, including crockery and cutlery
- Sanitise counters, wipe down machinery, and maintain preparation areas
- Clean and tidy public spaces (tables, chairs, equipment)
- Prepare basic cold food and fulfil made-to-order requests
- Restock goods and curate clear, appealing merchandise displays
- Report to your line manager:
  - Customer feedback, complaints or suggestions
  - Stock requirements, breakages, faults, or work hazards
- Manage and record daily paperwork accurately
- Maintain diligent records as required
- Strict adherence to **food hygiene and safety procedures**

Requirements

We’re looking for a team player who:

  • Is customer-focused with a friendly, service-oriented attitude
  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous (but not essential) – training will be provided
  • Meets the legal working age threshold (18+)
  • Is eligible to work in the UK with at least 3 years residency (due to security clearance requirements)
  • Demonstrates basic numeracy skills

  • Must own or have reliable transport as the location is remote with limited public transport
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
