Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary 11.5 months with possibility of extension and/or permanency

Classification: Health Professional Level 3 (PN 40209)

Salary: $111,639 - $120,057 (Plus 12.5% Super)

Location: Canberra Health Services, ACT

Section: Community Health and Integrated Care

About the Role:

Join the Nutrition Department at Canberra Health Services and build your career in acute and subacute healthcare. As a Food Service Dietitian, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality nutrition care and food services that support health and recovery.

In this role, you will contribute to menu and recipe development, food service innovation, continuous quality improvement, and the implementation of evidence-based nutrition standards. You will work alongside a progressive team of dietitians and food service professionals dedicated to excellence, professional development, and improving consumer outcomes.

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Dietitians with experience in food service dietetics and clinical nutrition. You will have strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality nutrition care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

We offer the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians and food service professionals who are dedicated to excellence in nutrition care and service delivery. You will join a supportive and inclusive workplace where innovation, learning and professional growth are encouraged.

A merit pool may be established from this recruitment process and will remain valid for 12 months. This pool may be used to fill similar roles/future vacant positions at the same level across CHS.

  • Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.

  • Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
