Join our Foodhalls team as a Food Service and Gifting Specialist on a Fixed Term Contract from September 2026 to January 2027, responsible for our food to order, hampers and bespoke client offerings during the festive season. You’ll enjoy a competitive salary of £33,500 + bonus, along with access to our renowned Harrods benefits, including generous discounts across our stores and restaurants.

About The Role

You’ll become a trusted expert within our Food Service and Gifting team, supporting customers with everything from bespoke hamper creation and corporate gifting to special occasion orders and private shopping requests. No two days are the same, as you'll work across both the shop floor and behind the scenes to deliver a seamless service during one of the busiest and most exciting times in the Harrods calendar. You will also:

  • Create tailored gifting solutions, helping customers select and personalise hampers for every occasion.
  • Support a diverse customer base, from corporate clients and Private Shopping customers to international visitors and loyal Harrods shoppers.
  • Manage enquiries and orders across multiple channels, including face-to-face, telephone, and email interactions.
  • Work closely with teams across Foodhalls, Kitchens, Dispatch, and Stock Operations to ensure every order is fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Assist with the creation and fulfilment of bespoke hampers, including sourcing products, coordinating orders, arranging delivery, and ensuring exceptional attention to detail throughout.

About You

You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Whether assisting a customer with the perfect festive gift or coordinating a bespoke food order, you'll bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a keen eye for detail to every interaction. You will also:

  • Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and key stakeholders across the business.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional standards.
  • Take ownership of enquiries and orders from initial request through to fulfilment.
  • Be confident using technology and learning new systems to support customer orders and deliveries (including good use of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Bring a positive, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine passion for creating memorable moments.
