Job Title: Food Technical Coordinator

Ref: 23575

Your New Salary: £30,000

Location: Surrey (5 days on site with no work from home)

Permanent/ Full-time

Working hours: 08:30– 17:00

Food Technical Coordinator - What You'll be Doing:

  • Respond to operational enquiries in a timely, polite, and accurate manner;
  • Support Technical Manager to achieve the technical objectives and goals. Keen to help and collaborate with other team members.
  • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and enthusiasm for the company’s businesses and products to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain all aspects of coordination to a high standard.
  • Be able to complete tasks within a tight timeframe.
  • Ensure compliance with FS legislation as well as company Policies and SOP.
  • Carry out regular housekeeping, as well as site inspections.
  • Follow up all NCs raised and close them in a timely manner.
  • Work closely and communicate well with internal teams to ensure a high standard of operational activities is maintained.
  • Coordinate with customer complaints and carry out investigations for any incidents with related operational team(s) to provide findings and resolve problems.
  • Check records and forms on a regular basis, report progress, and follow up any corrective actions for any missing gaps.
  • Coordinate production activities where related to technical/FS functions.

Food Technical Coordinator - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Understanding of food safety, QC/QA/GMP checks, sampling, NC follow-up.
  • Knowledge of Japanese/Asian/ethnic foods would be helpful but not a must.
  • Experience in customer service and/or sales/suppliers.
  • Polite, helpful phone manner, and customer-focused individual.
