Food Technology Teacher - Bradford

Academics are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Food Technology teacher or a skilled food professional with teaching experience who is passionate about inspiring students and helping them develop practical and theoretical skills.
The Role
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons, supporting students to develop their knowledge, practical skills and understanding of food, nutrition and preparation.
You will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons
- Deliver engaging practical and theory-based sessions
- Support students to develop their culinary and food preparation skills
- Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Assess and monitor student progress
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance
- Ensure appropriate health and safety standards are maintained during practical sessions
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Relevant qualifications and/or professional experience in Food Technology, Catering or a related subject
- Previous teaching or training experience is desirable
- Strong practical knowledge of food preparation, nutrition and food safety
- A passion for education and developing students' skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to engage and motivate learners
- A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
