Help shape the future of West Berkshire Foodbank and make a lasting difference in our community

We are looking for a Director to build on our successes to date and lead the Foodbank through its next phase of development. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to strengthen our partnerships, further improve our processes and effectiveness and help shape the Foodbank's future role in the community.

Working as part of the Trussell network and in partnership with local agencies and community organisations, West Berkshire Foodbank provides emergency food, practical support and hope to people facing crisis across West Berkshire.

Our team of six staff and 170 dedicated volunteers supports more than 1,500 households each year, delivering vital services, strengthening community resilience and working towards long-term solutions to hunger and hardship.

You will be an experienced and inspiring leader, able to support our passionate staff and volunteers, build strong relationships with partners and work constructively with our Trustees. You will combine empathy and understanding with strong operational and financial management. Experience working in this sector would be beneficial.

This is a full-time role, based at the Foodbank headquarters in Greenham business park, although some remote working may be possible.
