About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in wholesale, retail, fresh food, or foodservice who is ready to take the next step in their leadership career. As Foodservice Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering an outstanding shopping experience, driving department performance, and leading a high-performing team within our busy Chill, Freeze and Foodservice operation.

What You'll Be Doing

As Foodservice Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage the Chill, Freeze, and Foodservice department, ensuring high operational and merchandising standards at all times.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop a team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve business objectives.
  • Drive performance through effective execution of promotions, seasonal activity, and commercial initiatives.
  • Work closely with replenishment and ordering teams to maintain optimum stock levels and product availability.
  • Ensure full compliance with all company policies, procedures, and food safety standards.
  • Bring energy, passion, and commercial awareness to maximise sales opportunities and department performance.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and helping them grow their businesses.
  • Identify opportunities to develop existing customer accounts and attract new business where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate Musgrave's leadership values by fostering accountability, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about people, customers, and delivering results. The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years' experience in retail, fresh food, foodservice, sales, or a supervisory/leadership role.
  • A strong understanding of grocery retail and/or foodservice markets.
  • Experience leading, motivating, and developing a team.
  • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach with a drive to deliver exceptional results.
