SPECIALIST FOOT & ANKLE PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Mayfair, Central London | Two days per week | On-site

Employed or self-employed arrangement considered

Physio Remedies is seeking an experienced Specialist Foot & Ankle Physiotherapist to join and strengthen our established team in Mayfair.

We have one of London’s only dedicated Foot & Ankle teams within a private physiotherapy practice. We are now building on this service and are looking for a physiotherapist with substantial Foot & Ankle experience.

This is a senior clinical opportunity and is not suitable for a newly qualified or rotational physiotherapist.

The successful candidate will manage an existing caseload and new referrals, develop relationships with orthopaedic surgeons and other medical referrers, and help develop our service and evidence-led clinical pathways.

ABOUT PHYSIO REMEDIES

Established in 2005, Physio Remedies is a specialist private physiotherapy practice based within The Lansdowne Club in Mayfair.

We work closely with leading orthopaedic surgeons, sports medicine consultants, private GPs and other healthcare professionals. Our Foot & Ankle service manages post-operative rehabilitation, tendinopathy, sports injuries and complex musculoskeletal presentations.

Excellent surgery deserves equally excellent rehabilitation. We provide expert assessment, carefully progressed rehabilitation, early recognition of concerns and clear communication with the patient’s surgeon and wider medical team.

Our facilities include:

  • Three private treatment rooms
  • Two fully equipped gyms
  • Strength and conditioning and cardiovascular areas
  • A dedicated rehabilitation studio
  • A 25-metre swimming pool
  • Pilates reformer
  • Focused shockwave therapy
  • Objective strength and performance-testing technology
  • Blood-flow restriction and neuromuscular stimulation equipment

THE ROLE

The role is expected to cover approximately two days each week, normally Monday and Wednesday. There is some flexibility for the right candidate.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and treating an established Foot & Ankle caseload
  • Managing complex post-operative rehabilitation
  • Treating acute, chronic and recurrent Foot & Ankle conditions
  • Providing evidence-led management of Achilles, plantar heel, peroneal and tibialis posterior tendinopathies
  • Developing individualised strength, conditioning and return-to-sport programmes
  • Using objective testing to guide rehabilitation and return-to-performance decisions
  • Recognising clinical concerns and communicating promptly with surgeons and other referrers
  • Managing new referrals and building trusted referrer relationships
  • Developing evidence-led clinical pathways for common conditions, post-operative rehabilitation and tendinopathy
  • Supporting the development of treatment protocols, outcome measures and return-to-activity criteria
  • Reviewing outcomes and identifying opportunities to improve the patient pathway
  • Contributing to patient and referrer education and specialist clinical content

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
