Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – London – £40,000–£44,000

Are you an electrically qualified engineer with commercial building maintenance experience?

Fancy working across a portfolio of prestigious Central London offices for a well-established, family-run FM service provider?

This is a great opportunity to join a mobile maintenance team covering tenanted areas across a number of prestigious commercial office sites mainly within tenanted areas in Chiswick, Mayfair, Liverpool Street and Tower Hill.

You'll work alongside on-site maintenance teams delivering planned and reactive maintenance across multiple client sites, for a business known for looking after its engineers as well as its clients.

Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00

Package

  • £40,000–£44,000 basic salary
  • 23 days holiday
  • Zones 1–6 travel card
  • Pension
  • Company uniform, mobile phone and laptop
  • Family-run service provider with exclusive, high-profile client contracts

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out M&E and fabric maintenance across all systems
  • Lighting: small installation works, fault-finding, lamping, ballast replacement, control panels and power distribution
  • Emergency lighting testing
  • Air handling units, fan coil units and HVAC systems
  • Building Management System monitoring (including hot & cold checks)
  • Air conditioning and cold water systems
  • Water treatment checks (temperature monitoring, dosing checks)
  • Basic plumbing, including unblocking toilets
  • Escorting and coordinating subcontractors
  • Attending client meetings as required
  • Maintaining accurate site log books

Requirements

  • Electrically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
  • City & Guilds 17th/18th Edition
  • Able to provide copies of trade certificates
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled with strong fault-finding ability
  • Good communication skills
