Company Description Sports Fun 4 All is a community-led organization that uses football, sport, and personal development to help children and young people improve their wellbeing and reach their potential. Working in some of the most deprived areas across the UK, the team focuses on creating stronger, safer, and more inclusive communities. Coaches are from South East London and have direct understanding of the challenges young people face, including high deprivation and safety concerns. This local insight helps build strong, long-term relationships with participants and enables meaningful, sustained impact. The mission includes creating safe learning environments, reducing social isolation, improving mental and physical health, and supporting those aged 16+ with skills, qualifications, and training to increase employment opportunities.
Role Description This full-time Football Coach/Youth Worker role is on-site and based in Lewisham. The role involves planning and delivering high-quality football coaching sessions for children and young people of varied backgrounds and abilities. The coach will support personal development by mentoring participants, promoting positive behavior, and encouraging teamwork, resilience, and confidence. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Supervising sessions

The role also includes:
- Identifying young people who may benefit from additional support
- Signposting them to appropriate opportunities
- Helping to organize volunteering, training, and community engagement activities
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Football Coaching and Coaching skills, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging training sessions.
- Candidates should possess solid Football knowledge and understanding of youth development in sport.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for working with children, young people, families, and community partners.
- Candidates should possess Training and mentoring abilities to support personal development and soft skill growth.
- Relevant coaching certifications (e.g., FA coaching badges or equivalent) and experience working with children and young people are highly beneficial.
- Understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety in youth sport settings is essential.
- Ability to act as a positive role model, demonstrate cultural awareness, and work collaboratively within a diverse community is important.
