Role: Volunteer / Unpaid
Team: Tooting Bec FC Women Reserves
Level: Tier 8 of the women’s football pyramid
Commitment: Wednesday evening training and Sunday matches

About the role

Tooting Bec FC Women are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Reserve Team Manager to lead our women’s reserve team into the 2026/27 season.

The reserves are entering Tier 8 following a league-winning 2025/26 season, and play an important role within our wider women’s football programme. We are looking for someone who can provide positive leadership, create a welcoming and ambitious environment, and help players develop both individually and as a team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain or develop experience in football management and coaching within an ambitious grassroots women’s football club.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has the confidence and enthusiasm to lead and motivate a team
  • Is passionate about women’s football and player development
  • Can create a positive, inclusive and ambitious team environment
  • Can commit to Wednesday evening training and Sunday fixtures, both home and away
  • Is able to assist with planning and delivering training sessions
  • Is organised, reliable and able to communicate effectively with players and the wider club
  • Is keen to learn and develop their own coaching and management experience

Coaching qualifications are not essential. We are happy to support the right person in developing their knowledge, qualifications and experience.

The commitment

This is a voluntary, unpaid position. The role requires availability for Wednesday evening training and Sunday fixtures throughout the season, alongside some preparation and communication outside of matchdays.
