Junior School Lead Coach
Hampstead, North London | Monday–Friday
£45–£75 per session, depending on experience and suitability
Due to the continued growth and expansion of Open Sports, we are looking to add an outstanding Junior School Lead Coach to our existing coaching team, leading after-school sport for children aged 5–8. We are looking for someone who is positive, upbeat, enthusiastic and exceptionally reliable, with strong organisation, communication and leadership skills.
The Role
- Lead engaging football and multi-sports sessions for children aged 5–8.
- Lead and organise assistant coaches and manage groups positively.
- Manage equipment, registers and collection procedures.
- Build excellent relationships with pupils and school staff and represent Open Sports professionally.

Person Specification
- Strong experience working with children aged 5–8 and within schools, ideally independent/preparatory schools.
- A natural leader with excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
- Exceptionally reliable and punctual; confident, positive, friendly and enthusiastic.
- Highly organised with excellent personal presentation.
- A creative and inclusive football coach who is confident delivering fun and inclusive multi-sports.
- Relevant coaching qualifications, safeguarding training and first aid are desirable. An Enhanced DBS will be required.

Hours & Location
On site: 3:10–4:40pm | Coaching session: 3:30–4:30pm.
Five afternoons is preferred, although flexibility may be possible for the right candidate.
Location: 4 minutes' walk from Swiss Cottage Underground Station | 8 minutes' walk from Belsize Park Underground Station | No on-site parking, reasonable paid parking nearby.

Location
