Location: Onsite EPL & EFL Stadiums
We are currently hiring across Greater London and surrounding southern regions. Ideal candidates will be within easy commuting distance to partner EPL and EFL stadiums across London and the South of England.
Contract Type: Casual hourly contract – Setup Day & Match Day
Hourly Rate: £13.00 - £18.20 Per Hour. Rates vary depending on role.
Role Overview: As a Football Tracking Technician, you will work on-site at football stadiums across your region, playing a vital role in the delivery of Hawk-Eye’s tracking and officiating technologies for Premier League, EFL, and UEFA fixtures.
You will be responsible for the setup, calibration, and optimisation of services including Goal Line Technology (GLT) and Electronic Performance & Tracking Systems (EPTS). This includes connecting and configuring PCs and hardware within stadium fibre-optic networks, optimising camera alignments, troubleshooting technical issues in real time, and coordinating closely with remote operations centres, on-site technical leads, and replay operators to ensure seamless match delivery.
Comprehensive technical training and ongoing support will be provided, giving you full exposure to industry-leading sports technology systems and live match operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in elite football environments, live broadcast technology, and high-performance sports operations at the highest level of the game.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain practical, hands-on experience in sports technology while maintaining a flexible routine. Because live matchday operations follow the football fixture calendar - predominantly concentrated on weekends with occasional midweek commitments for training and fixtures - we are seeking candidates with strong availability to cover these key operational windows.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Stadium Setup: Rigging Hawk-Eye technology at the stadium. Please note: This involves physically demanding work, including running heavy cables, rigging cameras, and working at height.
- System Calibration: Conducting pre-match setup, hardware checks, and technical calibration of tracking systems in accordance with standard operational procedures.
- Live Match Monitoring: Actively monitoring hardware and software performance during live matches to instantly troubleshoot, resolve, and report technical errors.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaising professionally with stadium staff, match officials, and host broadcasters on-site, serving as a trusted brand ambassador for Hawk-Eye

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
