We are working with a dynamic and trend-led fashion brand seeking a commercially driven Footwear & Accessories Merchandiser to join their growing team. This is a key role responsible for planning, trading, and driving performance across footwear and accessories categories, ensuring the product offer aligns with customer demand, brand strategy, and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver seasonal merchandising strategies across footwear and accessories to maximise sales and margin
  • Own category planning, forecasting, and WSSI management, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
  • Analyse sales, stock, and performance data to identify risks and opportunities, making informed trading decisions
  • Collaborate closely with Buying, Design, and Product Development teams to build commercially balanced ranges
  • Manage intake, stock levels, and OTB to optimise availability and minimise markdown risk
  • Lead weekly trade meetings, presenting performance insights and actionable recommendations
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to inform product and pricing strategies
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support on-time delivery and product success

  • Proven experience in merchandising, ideally within footwear and/or accessories
  • Strong commercial awareness with a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience managing WSSI and forecasting tools
  • Ability to work at pace in a fast-moving fashion environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

Desirable

  • Experience working within a fashion retail or supplier environment
  • Exposure to international markets or multi-channel retail (ecommerce and wholesale)
