Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Platform Experience
Experience with the FX trading and white-label platforms currently used by the business would be highly advantageous (please mention in CV which you've used).
Given the size of the existing client book, familiarity with the relevant technology and workflows would allow the successful candidate to hit the ground running and immediately take ownership of live client activity.
Candidates currently working within larger FX houses are also encouraged to apply, particularly those looking for greater autonomy, ownership and visibility within a smaller, more entrepreneurial environment.
Why Join?
This is a genuine opportunity to join a close-knit FX team where an experienced dealer can make a visible commercial impact.
The successful candidate will inherit a live trading book of approximately 100 active clients, while benefiting from a strong flow of high-quality registrations generated by the BDM team.
With commission available from day one, the role offers an immediate opportunity to generate earnings from an established book rather than waiting to build a portfolio from scratch.
