Foreman – Erith
Erith | 42 hours per week
Ready to take the next step in your engineering career and lead a team?
We’re looking for an experienced Foreman to join our busy Erith depot, taking the lead on the servicing, repair, refurbishment and maintenance of our hire equipment.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys solving problems, supporting other engineers and keeping a busy workshop running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and supporting a team of Service Engineers
- Overseeing servicing, repairs and maintenance
- Providing hands-on technical support when needed
- Prioritising workloads to keep equipment available for customers
- Managing stock, assets and equipment counts
- Identifying training and development needs within the team
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping

What you’ll need
- Strong mechanical and technical knowledge
- Previous experience supervising or leading a team
- Engineering experience within plant hire, construction equipment or a similar industry would be ideal
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Experience managing stock and assets
- A hands-on approach and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- A strong focus on safety and quality
