Join our growing Forensics team

We’re looking for a Forensics Assistant to join our specialist Forensic Accounting and Business Valuations team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in forensic accounting and valuations and gain hands-on experience across a varied portfolio of assignments. You’ll work closely with experienced members of the team, supporting financial analysis, investigations, valuations and the preparation of client reports.

Our Forensics team works on a diverse range of assignments, supporting solicitors, businesses, individuals and other organisations across both civil and criminal matters. About the role

As a Forensics Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality forensic accounting assignments. You’ll work as part of the wider team to ensure assignments are delivered accurately, efficiently, within budget and in line with Kreston Reeves’ quality standards.

You’ll gain exposure to a range of work, including financial analysis, business valuations, investigations and Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) work, giving you the opportunity to build valuable technical and commercial skills. Kreston Reeves’ Forensics specialists work on matters including fraud investigations, loss of profits and earnings claims, commercial disputes, matrimonial matters and POCA confiscation work.

You will also support the team with administrative work including billing, maintaining sales opportunities, onboarding clients and drafting engagement letters.

  • Prepare client onboarding documentation and ensure relevant information is complete and accurate.
  • Manage your workload effectively, ensuring assignments are completed within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Follow Kreston Reeves’ service line procedures and quality standards, escalating issues to the appropriate Manager where required.
  • Assist with departmental billing and maintaining the team’s sales pipeline

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
