Description
Are you a Forensic Collision Investigator looking for your next challenge?
We are delighted to invite applications from experienced professionals who are keen to join our nationally recognised Catastrophic and Complex Injury Team. Led by Liz Jones, our industry-leading team comprises 30 partners and 81 lawyers based across the United Kingdom. This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your expertise and advance your career while working alongside some of the leading specialists in this field.
Our national team acts for a diverse range of clients, including major insurers and well-known corporate organisations. We provide strategic and effective claims solutions in some of the most severe and complex cases, including traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, amputations, and high-value fatal accident claims. Whether instructed at the pre-litigation stage for early advice and investigation, or during active litigation, our focus is always on delivering clear, commercially focused strategies from the outset.
As a Forensic Collision Investigator, you will work closely with our Complex Injury lawyers to investigate high-value personal injury claims arising from road traffic collisions. The role involves gathering, analysing and interpreting evidence relating to collisions, as well as providing expert insight into liability issues to support our case strategy.
We are seeking an individual with significant experience in collision investigation who can bring a forensic and analytical approach to complex claims. The successful candidate is likely to have previously worked as a Forensic Collision Investigator and will have extensive experience investigating road traffic accidents and assessing the evidence arising from them.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
