Gambit Search are representing an exceptional firm that is looking to appoint a Forensic Partner to lead and develop its forensic offering across the UK. In this role, you can be based anywhere in the UK.
This is a genuinely entrepreneurial opportunity for an established forensic professional who wants the platform, autonomy, and support to build a forensic practice around their own expertise, client relationships, and market proposition.
The firm is deliberately open-minded on the specific area of forensics. Whether your background is in disputes & litigation, investigations, forensic accounting, valuations, fraud, contentious insolvency, expert witness work, or another specialist forensic discipline, the key requirement is a strong track record of winning work and developing client relationships.
The Opportunity
- Lead and develop the firm's forensic offering.
- Bring a strong track record of winning and originating forensic work.
- Leverage existing relationships and develop new client and referrer networks.
- Establish and define the firm's proposition within your chosen area of forensic advisory.
- Lead complex client engagements and act as a senior point of contact for clients, lawyers, and other professional advisers.
- Build and develop a team around the practice as the business grows.
- Help shape the strategic growth of the forensic practice and its market positioning.

What We're Looking For
- A demonstrable track record in forensic advisory.
- A strong work-winning and business-development history.
- Established relationships with lawyers, corporates, financial institutions, insurers, private equity, or other relevant referrers.
- The credibility to operate at senior level with clients and professional advisers.
- Experience leading complex forensic engagements.
- The ambition to build something rather than simply inherit an existing portfolio.
- A clear area of forensic expertise and a proposition they can take to market.
