Fantastic opportunity to join a business valuations practice in London with significant upside progression potential.
We're supporting a leading UK accountancy and business advisory firm in the appointment of a Director to join its expanding Forensic & Valuation Services practice.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious valuation professional looking to take on a genuine leadership role within a growing team. You'll work alongside an experienced leadership group, leading complex valuation engagements while playing a central role in shaping and growing the practice through business development, client relationship management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our Forensic & Valuation Services proposition, helping to shape and strengthen our market offering.
- Responsible for producing and overseeing technically robust, commercially focused reports and advisory outputs that stand up to the highest levels of scrutiny.
- Full accountability for engagement risk, you will bring a disciplined, strategic approach to delivery while operating as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
- You will lead complex forensic dispute engagements and financial investigations, overseeing the preparation of high-quality expert reports and advisory outputs. With a critical eye, you will review and challenge detailed financial analyses and contractual mechanisms, ensuring robust and defensible conclusions.
- You will take responsibility for managing engagement risk while also investing in the development and mentoring of team members, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
- Take ownership of complex forensic and dispute engagements, overseeing assignments from initial scoping through to final delivery.
- You will work closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring the production of high-quality outputs for both client submissions and Partner review.
- Developing and mentoring a high-performing team, contributing to the continued evolution of a market-leading proposition and strengthening our reputation as a go-to firm for complex Valuation and Forensic matters.

Ideal Candidate:

- Qualified Accountant with extensive experience in forensic accounting, Valuations, and dispute advisory work.
- You have extensive experience in expert witness report writing, detailed valuations, and damages calculations, leading and managing teams.
- A demonstrable track record in business development, along with an established network within law firms or other relevant markets, will be key. This role suits someone who enjoys building relationships and is motivated by growing a practice, not simply delivering technical work.
- You will have a track record of leading and developing teams, alongside managing complex assignments with confidence and precision.
- A strong track record in business development is essential, supported by an established professional network.
