Foreperson
The Foreperson will report to the Construction Manager and play a key role in the day-to-day management, coordination and supervision of site activities on the Klostermansfeld Battery Storage Plant project. Working closely with Engineers, Site Management, subcontractors and the wider project team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, to the required quality standards and in line with project programme requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities across all work fronts.
- Lead and manage direct labour, subcontractors and plant resources to achieve programme milestones.
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with project Health & Safety requirements.
- Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions.
- Monitor productivity and progress against programme targets, escalating delays or issues as required.
- Interpret drawings, specifications and work instructions, ensuring clear communication to site teams.
- Coordinate deliveries, materials, plant and equipment to maintain efficient site operations.
- Ensure works are completed to the required quality standards and in line with approved documentation.
- Support the implementation of method statements, risk assessments and permit-to-work systems.
- Maintain accurate site records, including labour allocation, daily diaries and progress updates.
- Assist with inspections, audits and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained across all work areas.
- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, environmental personnel and HSE teams to support project objectives.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to resolving technical and operational challenges.
- Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example at all times.

Experience
- Previous experience in a Foreperson, General Foreperson or Site Supervisor role on major construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on energy, utility, renewable energy, industrial or large-scale civil engineering projects is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and work plans.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to site management.
- Experience working within multinational project teams would be advantageous.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant construction or civil engineering qualification desirable.
- Valid First Aid at Work certification.
- IOSH Managing Safely, SMSTS or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
- Knowledge of temporary works, excavation safety and permit-to-work systems.
- Experience managing lifting operations and working alongside crane activities.
- Understanding of working at height requirements and scaffolding safety.
- Knowledge of environmental management and sustainability requirements on construction projects.
- Full driving licence.
- Additional project-specific HSE training as required.
