Design and Food Technology Technician

Permanent, Term Time only, contract

Start Date: October 2026

Salary Range: Scale 3, point 5 - 6 (£31,086 – £31,530) pro rata

Actual salary approximately £20,559- £20,852

Term Time only (38 weeks), 27.5 hours per week

Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm

We are looking to appoint a hardworking and experienced technician to support the teaching and learning provision in the Design Technology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ordering, preparation and maintenance of specialist equipment, tools, materials and resources for teaching food and design technology.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm, term time only. If you have experience of working in a busy school technology department and are adept at dealing with a wide variety of tasks, this could be the role for you.

We expect all our technicians to undertake training to fulfil their role in the Expressive Arts Faculty.
