Forklift Driver Opportunity in Livingston

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Forklift Driver to join an established production and manufacturing business based in Livingston.

About the Opportunity

Our client operates a busy manufacturing facility, offering consistent work across a 5-days-out-of-7 pattern with early shift hours and competitive weekly pay.

  • Ongoing temporary position
  • 5 days out of 7, 5:30am to 3:30pm

Your Duties Will Include

  • Safely manoeuvring forklifts within a busy industrial environment
  • Stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves and pallets
  • Moving goods between storage and loading areas and unloading deliveries
  • Ensuring forklift operating areas are free from spills and obstructions
  • Carrying out regular equipment checks and consolidating partial pallets

Requirements

To be considered as a Forklift Driver, you will need:

  • A valid forklift licence
  • Good spatial awareness and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements
  • The ability to itemise and record stock accurately
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
