Prime Appointments are currently working with a well-established and growing independent civil merchant based in Witham, who are looking for an experienced FLT Driver to join their busy team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FLT Driver who has previously worked within a builder's merchant, yard or warehouse environment and is confident operating a Counterbalance Forklift.

Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

Duties Will Include
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift and Telehandler safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving and organising materials around the yard and warehouse
- Checking incoming and outgoing goods are correct and damage-free
- Picking and preparing materials for customers and deliveries
- Assisting with stock checks
- Keeping the yard and warehouse clean, tidy and organised
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Working efficiently to meet daily deadlines
- Supporting the wider yard team when required

Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance FLT or JCB Telehandler licence is essential
- Previous FLT driving experience
- Experience working within a builder's merchant or similar environment is a bonus
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and hardworking
- Able to work as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
