Forklift Driver - Dunstable
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Driver to work with a leading company in the Logistics sector in Dunstable.
Shift Patterns:
- Any 5 out of 7
Pay Rates:
- £15.87 hourly
Requirements:
- Minimum 6-12 months forklift driving experience
- Loading and unloading goods, pallet handling and stacking
- Working in busy warehouse environments, safe load handling, and pedestrian safety
- Hazards identification, performing pre-use checks, and operating machinery for extended periods
- Handling manual tasks when required and experience in reach forklifts
- Good level of English
Desirable:
- Additional forklift licences
- Trained in manual handling, working at height, and background experience in the Retail industry
- Ability to meet or exceed KPIs, work well under pressure, and willingness to support picking and other departments

Role of a Forklift Driver:
- Efficiently operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular safety checks and maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including pedestrian safety and hazard identification, to maintain a secure working environment.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed, including picking and packing.
