Role: Forklift Driver
Location: Buckie, Low Street
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday (40 hours per week, flexibility required)
- There will be some requirement for weekend work
Pay Rate:
- £13.78 per hour, paid weekly during the probationary period
- Increasing to £14.42 per hour after successful completion of the probationary period
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced forklift driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient transportation and storage of goods at our Buckie Low Street site. Your responsibilities will include operating a forklift, loading and unloading stock, maintaining stock records, and adhering to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- On-site inbound and outbound forklift duties.
- Transporting goods between storage areas and production.
- Unloading and allocating stock to designated storage locations.
- Maintaining accurate stock records and facilitating stock rotations.
- Conducting daily/weekly forklift checks to ensure safety.
- Baling and disposing of paper/corrugate waste for recycling.
- Loading outbound vehicles with orders for timely dispatch.
- Adhering to all ASL nut and sesame policies to maintain a nut-free site.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven forklift driving experience.
- Valid driving licence with forklift certification.
- Strong numeracy skills for stock management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of stock control procedures.
- Behavioural Safety
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and working in all weather conditions.

Additional Information:
- This position involves long periods of lone working.
