Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Blandford Forum, Dorset

Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Contract Type: Temporary (September Assignment)

Permanent Opportunities: Available for the right candidate

Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client's team in Blandford Forum. This is an initially temporary position covering the month of September, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate. The successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring goods are moved safely and efficiently throughout the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Moving stock and materials around the stores and yard.
  • Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes.
  • Carrying out routine equipment checks and reporting any defects.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Supporting general yard duties as required.

Requirements

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence/Certificate.
  • Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.
