We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Supplier in Halstead, who are looking for an experienced Forklift driver to join their busy team.

This is a long-term temp to perm opportunity for someone with a current Forklift ticket who is comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment.

Role Overview

Forklift Driver

  • Operating a Forklift safely and efficiently around the yard and Warehouse
  • Loading and unloading materials and products
  • Moving stock and materials between the yard, storage areas
  • Safely positioning and stacking materials
  • General yard duties including keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised
  • Loading and preparing materials for dispatch
  • Assisting with the movement and handling of heavy materials
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting as required
  • Picker orders

Requirements

  • Current and valid Forklift licence
  • Previous experience operating a forklift
  • Full UK driving licence is required
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual work
  • Good understanding of workplace health & safety
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
  • Willing to get involved with general yard duties when not operating the FLT
