About The Role

The Forklift Driver position in Ledbury offers temporary, full-time employment for six to eight weeks, paying between £13.00 and £13.50 per hour. Working Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00, this role requires a valid external Counterbalance or Reach forklift certificate. Responsibilities include:

  • Operating a Counterbalance or Reach FLT safely
  • Receiving and checking supplier deliveries
  • Picking, packing, and loading customer orders for dispatch
  • Supporting stock control activities such as stock counts

⭐ Your Duties

  • Operating a Counterbalance or Reach FLT safely and efficiently
  • Receiving, checking and storing supplier deliveries
  • Picking, packing and loading customer orders for dispatch
  • Supporting stock control activities, including stock counts and inventory checks
  • Replenishing production areas and maximising warehouse space
  • Ensuring stock is clearly identified and stored correctly
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse and yard
  • Complying with all Health & Safety and quality procedures

🚜 Requirements:

  • Valid Counterbalance or Reach Forklift certificate (essential)
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience using warehouse management systems, ERP software, or barcode scanners advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively within a team
  • Good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety procedures
