Role Description
The Forklift Engineer role is a full-time, remote position responsible for supporting the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating and performing forklift operations, assisting with shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring accurate loading, unloading, and packing of materials. The role involves monitoring material handling processes, identifying operational issues, and recommending improvements to enhance safety and productivity. The Forklift Engineer will collaborate with customer support and engineering teams to help troubleshoot material handling challenges and contribute to effective warehouse solutions. Remote work will require clear communication, accurate documentation of activities, and adherence to company safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Shipping & Receiving and related warehouse documentation and coordination.
- Experience with Unloading and Packing activities, including safe handling, labeling, and staging of goods.
- Proficiency in Material Handling practices, including inventory movement, storage, and workflow optimization.
- Strong Forklift Operation abilities, with safe driving techniques, load management, and equipment care.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices, including risk assessment and PPE use.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with team members and customers.
- Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or industrial equipment environments is beneficial.
- Relevant certifications in forklift operation or material handling and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
