Overview
The Forklift – Truck loader will have experience operating forklifts, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. As a Forklift Loader, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks carrying roofing panels, coils, and other materials, organizing warehouse inventory, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods.

- Day Shift
- Monday–Friday
- 5am–1:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Verify the accuracy of load orders and ensure proper materials handling to prevent damage.
- Stack and organize products and materials safely and efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by documenting material movements.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized, storing materials in designated areas.
- Participate in regular housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating forklifts and handling materials.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts and immediately report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety instructions.
- Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to a workplace safety culture.
- Work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Identify and report any damaged materials to the supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns.
- Assist with bi-annual plant inventories.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Scan all orders being loaded on delivery trucks.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of forklift operation and material handling procedures.
- Ability to read and understand load orders and inventory documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Must understand truck mapping to ensure trucks are loaded correctly, weight distributed evenly, and do not exceed truck weight capacity.
