Forklift Operator – Morning Shift

💰 £28,000–£30,000 depending on experience

📦 The Role
OJ Digital is recruiting an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Operative for an established distribution business based in Thame, Oxfordshire.
You'll work across the transport yard and warehouse, supporting the morning pallet network operation. This is a hands-on position involving forklift operations, loading and unloading vehicles, preparing freight for delivery and supporting the wider transport team.
We're looking for someone who already has experience working within a warehouse, distribution, logistics or transport environment and can quickly become a productive member of the operation.

🚛 Responsibilities
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Move and collect freight between the warehouse, yard and vehicles
- Scan and label incoming pallets accurately
- Ensure freight is allocated to the correct vehicles
- Identify and escalate any labelling, scanning or allocation issues
- Use warehouse and pallet network systems
- Communicate effectively with drivers, colleagues, depots and customers
- Support the wider transport and warehouse operation as required
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety
👤 What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within a warehouse, distribution, logistics or transport environment
- Ideally, experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift
- A current Counterbalance Forklift licence is highly advantageous
- Experience loading and unloading vehicles or handling palletised freight would be beneficial
- Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on warehouse and yard environment
- Confident using basic computerised warehouse or logistics systems
- Reliable, flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a strong approach to Health & Safety

💷 Package
- £28,000–£30,000, depending on experience
- 45 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Hours between approximately 6:30am and 4:30pm, with a one-hour lunch break
- One Saturday morning per month, 5:00am–11:00am
- 22 days' annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays
