You’re a safety-conscious and reliable team player, passionate about keeping operations running smoothly and ensuring our products reach customers safely and efficiently. You’ll play a key role within the warehouse team, supporting pallet preparation, stock movement, production requirements and the loading of UK and export deliveries, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service. Shifts will consist of 2 week rotating shift (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm)

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • To be responsible and accountable for assisting the warehouse department with pallet preparation, internal transfer, and loading of lorries ready for delivery to customers.
  • Stretch wrapping in line with the company guidelines.
  • Loading lorries by forklift for either UK or Export distribution as instructed by management.
  • Re-labelling, boxing and stacking pallets.
  • Allocating/running finished stock from production holding area to finished goods warehouse.
  • Providing stock requirements to production areas, including pallets, packaging, material, work in progress.
  • Identifying stock and building loads in accordance with information provided by transport co-ordinator.
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to: Health and Safety, Quality and Environment management.
  • The post holder may be required to perform duties other than those given in the job description.   • Valid Forklift Truck Licence.
  • Demonstrable competence of operating a Fork Lift Truck within the last 24 months.
  • Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing to complete tasks as required.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve work objectives taking accountability for own work/actions undertaken.
  • Ability to respond positively to changing work demands.
  • Wants to give good service, recognising the importance their work has on customer satisfaction.
  • Is able to work as part of a team to meet departmental objectives.
  • Confident in looking for continuous improvement in all areas of their work.
  • Is conscientious and thorough in all aspects of work responsibilities and has a professional approach to work.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • GCSE Maths A* – C Grade (4-9) or equivalent.
  • Experience of digital warehouse management system.
