Job Description

Multi-Skilled Driver / Forklift & Production Operative
Pay: £15.00-£16.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Hours: Full-time, with flexibility for early starts and later finishes

Get2Talent is recruiting on behalf of a food manufacturing business for a reliable, practical individual to support its driving, warehouse and production operations.

This varied role combines van deliveries, staff minibus transport, forklift operation and hands-on factory work. When driving duties are complete, you will support warehouse and food-production activities.

What you'll be doing

  • Driving company vans for deliveries, collections and transport between locations.
  • Collecting and dropping off staff using the company minibus.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles, checking goods and completing delivery paperwork.
  • Operating a counterbalance forklift and moving stock around the site.
  • Supporting goods-in, dispatch and warehouse organisation.
  • Working on filling, labelling, packing and other food-production activities.
  • Completing vehicle checks and following food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures.

What we're looking for

  • A full, valid UK driving licence and a responsible driving record.
  • The appropriate minibus driving entitlement for the vehicle and its use, including D1/PCV where required.
  • Forklift experience and a valid recognised counterbalance certificate or equivalent appropriate qualification.
  • Confidence driving vans, handling goods and working safely.
  • Reliability, punctuality and a flexible approach to different duties.
  • Willingness to work in an active factory environment involving standing, walking, lifting and moving goods.
  • Experience in food manufacturing, warehouse operations, multi-drop deliveries or passenger transport would be an advantage.

Working arrangements

The role is based on site and may involve early starts or later finishes to accommodate staff transport and production schedules. Contracted hours and any overtime or shift arrangements will be confirmed during the recruitment process.
