The Learning department develops enjoyable and accessible programmes that support the charity's aims for learning, engagement and audience development.
Joining this talented team, you'll support the delivery of our programme of formal learning activities, creating meaningful opportunities for schoolchildren, teachers and educators to connect with the Royal Collection and royal residencies, and their histories, helping to inspire learning both in the classroom and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- You'll coordinate the delivery of high-quality formal learning programmes in London (Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace and King's Gallery) and online, ensuring activities support organisational objectives and departmental targets.
- Supporting curriculum-linked learning activities and teacher engagement opportunities, you'll manage programme logistics, resources and administration to ensure a high standard of delivery.
- You'll liaise with schools, teachers, freelance educators and external contributors, supporting programme planning, delivery and follow-up activity.
- You'll coordinate and host online learning sessions, webinars and live broadcasts, managing programme materials, recordings and digital content where required.
- You'll contribute to the promotion and evaluation of programmes by preparing content for marketing activity, gathering audience feedback, maintaining programme data and supporting reporting and continuous improvement.

Essential Criteria
- You'll have experience supporting the delivery of learning programmes, events or audience engagement activities within a cultural, heritage, educational or visitor-facing environment.
- Experienced in coordinating projects and activities, you'll be confident managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- You'll have experience providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records and coordinating programme resources, budgets or operational processes.
- A confident communicator, you'll be able to build effective working relationships with colleagues, teachers, participants and external contributors.
- You'll be comfortable using feedback, data and audience insights to support programme evaluation and continuous improvement.
- A collaborative team player, you'll enjoy working with colleagues across departments to help deliver high-quality learning experiences for schools and teachers.
