Formwork Carpenter (Plymouth) – Fulltime

An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.
PAYE basis
Competitive Rate Depending On Experience/qualifications
Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)
Must Have
- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card
- Level 2 NVQ Formwork or Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Formwork
- Safety Critical Medical
- Previous experience as a Formwork Carpenter on major construction or infrastructure projects
- Experience with reinforced concrete structures and system formwork
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and proactive approach to work
- Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance
- Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years

This role is site based - Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Construct, erect and dismantle formwork systems in accordance with project drawings
- Install and maintain timber and proprietary formwork for reinforced concrete structures
- Ensure all formwork is accurately aligned and securely fixed before concrete placement
- Work closely with engineers, supervisors and concrete gangs to achieve programme targets
- Inspect completed formwork to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
- Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
- Support the successful delivery of major MOD infrastructure works
