Fortinet Network Security Consultant — remote, Wales based, £50,000–£70,000 + on-call
£50,000–£70,000 + ~£5,000 on-call allowance | Remote | Wales
Our client is a specialist Fortinet network security consultancy delivering enterprise-grade projects across the UK. They're looking for a Fortinet Network Security Consultant — the level and salary depends entirely on what you bring. Strong delivery engineer with NSE4? £50k end. Senior architect with NSE7 depth who can lead technically and reduce dependency at the top? £70k end. Everything in between is on the table.
Project-based, customer-facing, predominantly remote. Design, migration, build, test, handover — and the confidence to own it.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, migrate, build, test, and hand over Fortinet network security solutions for enterprise customers
- Own projects end to end — from initial design through to customer sign-off
- Work predominantly remotely — site visits are minimal (typically 2–3 days per 30-day project), mileage reimbursed
- Communicate directly and confidently with customers throughout the project lifecycle
- At senior level: provide technical authority and architectural direction to the wider project team
- Participate in an on-call rota — 1 in 6 weeks, 6pm–8am, 13.5% allowance (~£5,000/year)
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
